Owner Profile - Meridian O'Donnal Dawson

I saw my first horse when I was three years old and immediately fell in love with them. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to be around horses for the rest of my life.

As I grew older, my passion increased and it became clear that I wanted to pursue a career in some capacity in the equine industry.

Today, I have 22 years experience riding and caring for horses. In fact, I spent every waking moment learning about and dreaming about horses, wondering how I could help others like myself develop and nurture that same passion. As I look back on my life with horses, I have come to realize that teaching others what I know and love is exactly what I need to do.

As a young girl, I was a sponge to anything related to horses. I would spend long hours researching natural horsemanship techniques in training, unifying and riding horses. I was trained by a nationally renowned Mounted Shooter champion for several years, where my understanding and love for horses grew exponentially.

In my quest for equine knowledge, I solidified my resolve to offer these various services in hopes that I may one day be able to expand my business into the teaching and training aspects of the equine industry.

I have learned countless lessons from my time with horses, including patience, self-love and faith, the building blocks to a healthy emotional state. My passion for horses goes beyond the riding arena. The lessons I have learned from horses have affected the way I interact with others in many situations and the way I understand my own life and goals.

My highest goal is to use my passion and experience with horses to help create a community centered on the faith-building lessons horses teach us, and to further the equine industry in a unique way.
